NEWS: TETHYS4ADRION Showcased at ECOMONDO Fair in Rimini, Italy
Dr. Christina Zeri, from the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (TETHYS4ADRION project partner), presented the TETHYS4ADRION project at the BlueMissionMed Cross-Fertilization Workshop, held on November 5, 2025, within the framework of the ECOMONDO Fair.
Dr. Zeri introduced the project’s objectives and activities, with a focus on solutions for minimizing and collecting riverine litter that will be implemented in the TETHYS4ADRION pilot rivers.
In doing so, she promoted the alignment of our project with the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters.
Three key questions raised during the workshop concerned:
-
Mapping of the areas of activities
-
How Interreg project priorities align with the broader objectives of the Mission?
-
What the projects’ needs are for effective implementation and scaling up and how a dedicated Support Programme can assist?
The event was organized with the purpose of connecting and mutually enhancing the Interreg programme and the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters.
It was jointly organized by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions, Emilia Romagna Region, Innovative Sustainable Economy (ISE), Mission of the Interreg Euro-Med Programme, BlueEcosystem project, IPA-ADRION Programme, and Dialogue4Innovation Project.
