NEWS: Cinema per l’Ambiente: TETHYS4ADRION Highlights Marine Pollution Through Film
On May 26, 2026 (Tuesday), the internationally acclaimed documentary “A Plastic Ocean”, directed by Craig Leeson and featuring David Attenborough, will be screened within the framework of environmental film series “Cinema per l’Ambiente”. Following the screening, a debate curated by the TETHYS4ADRION project will offer attendees the opportunity to deepen their understanding of marine pollution and its broader environmental implications. TETHYS4ADRION project partners from ISPRA (Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale) will take part in the programme, bringing scientific insight and regional expertise to the discussions.
Over the course of six screenings, the series will explore a wide range of themes, including eco-mafia activities and environmental crimes, unsustainable practices in the agri-food sector, marine ecosystem protection, and climate activism.
The event is designed not only to raise awareness but also to foster dialogue and community engagement around sustainability challenges.
The programme will be enhanced by the participation of experts and professionals, including biologists, researchers, university professors, and representatives of local associations.
All events will be hosted at EXDYNAMO – La Velostazione, located at Via Indipendenza 71Z, Bologna, providing a central and accessible venue for participants.
The event “Cinema per l’Ambiente” is organized by Legambiente Bologna. For further information and registration, please visit Legambiente Bologna’s official Instagram page.
