NEWS: TETHYS4ADRION Networking: Roundtable discussion in Athens, Greece

On May 15, 2026, Ms. Christina Zeri, from the project partner Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, joined the Aquaculture Congress “Blue Growth, Global Vision” in Athens, Greece.

Ms. Zeri talked about TETHYS4ADRION efforts to reduce marine litter, by dealing with the issue in rivers, the main pathways by which litter reaches the sea. Since three of five TETHYS4ADRION pilot rivers cross national borders, transnational cooperation is at the core of our work. This was the occasion for Ms. Zeri to attend the roundtable discussion “Enhancing Transnational Collaboration for Marine Litter Management”.

The event was organized by Development Agency of the South Aegean Region – READ, as part of the PREVENT project. It was intended to promote both knowledge exchange and networking.
